GRADUATE / JUNIOR RADIOGRAPHER – Full Time

Rural Medical Imaging – Innisfail is seeking a hard working and outgoing Junior Radiographer to join our busy Innisfail practice. Innisfail is situated on the beautiful Cassowary Coast of Tropical North Queensland, and is about an hours drive to both Cairns and the Atherton Tablelands.
Applicants must work well within a team but also be able to confidently work unsupervised if necessary.
Applicants must be competent in performing General Xray procedures within a private setting and must hold all relevant licences and accreditation certificates to work within QLD. Current CPR certificate is also preferred.

Applicants will have the opportunity to gain CT Training.

Previous CT training is welcomed but not necessary.

Standard Work days: Monday to Friday

Standard Hours: 8:30am – 4:30pm

5 weeks leave accrued annually

Hourly rate: $40 – $45/hr (negotiable to reflect level of experience).

CT RADIOGRAPHER – Full Time

Applicants should be competent in cannulating patients for contrast CTs. Experience with GE scanners is advantageous but not critical.

Applicants may be required to supervise/train junior radiography staff.

Applicants must hold all relevant licences and accreditation certificates to work within QLD. Current CPR certificate is also preferred.

Standard Work days: Monday to Friday

Standard Hours: 8:30am – 4:30pm

INGHAM

SONOGRAPHER – Part Time

Rural Medical Imaging is seeking a part-time Sonographer to join our team at our Ingham practice. Ingham is located in the beautiful Hinchinbrook area of North Queensland, and is approx. an hours drive north of Townsville.
Applicants must work well within a team, alongside other medical imaging professionals, but also be able to confidently work independently if necessary.
While this is a part-time role, ability to help cover leave would be required.

Applicants must be competent in performing a wide range of ultrasound procedures (General, Small parts, Vascular, MSK, Pregnancy) within a private setting. Competency in specialised ultrasound procedures is welcomed but not essential, eg Nuchal Translucency

Applicants should be competent in managing their worklist efficiently and be able to accommodate urgent cases.

Applicants may be required to supervise/train junior sonography staff.

Applicants must hold current ASAR registration. Current CPR certificate is also preferred.

Standard Work days: Minimum 2 days a week between Monday – Friday

Standard Hours: 8:30am – 4:30pm

CT RADIOGRAPHER – Full Time

Rural Medical Imaging is seeking a hard working and outgoing CT Radiographer to join our team as we open our new practice in Charters Towers. Charters Towers is a large rural town in North Queensland, located approx. 140km south-west of Townsville.
Applicants must work well within a team, alongside other health professionals, but also be able to confidently work independently as this will begin as a sole radiographer position.
Applicants must be competent in performing General Xray, DEXA and CT (including contrast CT procedures) within a private setting.
